Selena Gomez delivered quite possibly the most powerful moment of the show last night at the 2016 American Music Awards.
According to Billboard, while accepting her award for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, she talked about her mental health and retracting from the spotlight. Check her speech out below:

“I think it’s safe to say that a lot of you know a lot of my life whether I liked it or not and I had to stop. Because I had everything, and I was absolutely broken. And I kept it together and I swore I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down. I’m not trying to get validation, nor do I need it anymore.”
Her speech received a massive, positive, reaction from many celebrities. Lady Gaga was visibly emotional during the broadcast. Taylor Swift, Camilla Cabello, Aly Raisman, Colton Haynes, and many more showed their support for the Revival visionary via social media.
